About the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Program: LIS has integrated an Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) program into our curriculum. ESD instills changes in knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes to foster a more sustainable and equitable society for all. It empowers learners to make informed decisions and take responsible actions towards environmental integrity, economic viability, social justice, and healthy living practices.
Our ESD program is aligned with the UN Agenda 2030 and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, incorporating a significant focus on Socio-Emotional Learning. Through this program, our students develop the necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values to tackle sustainable development challenges. By adopting a holistic approach to Sustainable Development and engaging parents and the local community, LIS endeavors to nurture responsible citizens committed to creating a better world and leading healthier lives.
